these weren't too fresh so we followed them a bit... 
and not too too big.... but a nice size bear....
oh and these ones were fresh!! the snow evidently hasn't sent these bears into hibernation....

We moved to cold bay alaska 2 years ago. Our day to day life has flown by, each season learning new things and enjoying gleaning from the land. fishing hunting and hiking. the over all time away from my beloved family and friends has been long. maybe i can better share our life out here with you all better with this blog.

Woah, interesting neighbors you have there - I found your blog on my friend Michelle's blog. Although I hesitate to say I live in Alaska when I look at the life you guys are living truly IN Alaska!!!! - we do have Napa stores...and a Target now here in the Mat-Su Valley.
